The festival of Eid Al-Adha is celebrated worldwide, the day has fallen with this name because of the tradition of sacrificing goat or ‘bakri’ in Urdu. Bakri Eid is also known as Festival of Sacrifice, this day is the second of the two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year and the holier of the two as it honours the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son as an act of obedience to God. Bollywood celebrities also took to their social media to wish fans on this auspicious day.
